In February 2011, Veracode, provider of independent cloud-based application risk management expanded its platform support to include Android and Apple’s iOS. The company points out that security leaders are tasked with implementing enterprise-wide application security policies, despite having lower visibility, expertise, and control over mobile apps and devices compared to other layers of their IT infrastructure.
