Web Malware Detection Service
Widgets & RSS FeedsAt RSA, Qualys announced a free new malware detection service. QualysGuard Malware Detection proactively scans Web sites of any size, anywhere in the world, for malware infections and threats. The service offers businesses automated alerts and in-depth reporting for effective remediation of identified malware.
“Each day thousands of Web sites are infected with malware and propagate the infection to visitors of their sites. Visitors rarely know that they are infected or that their personal information has been compromised,” says Avivah Litan, VP and distinguished analyst at Gartner, Inc. “Organizations and merchants that employ proactive measures for continuous malware threat monitoring will help limit the spread of malware infections and protect consumers on the Internet.”
Qualys also announced at RSA the Qualys Go SECURE service with the Qualys SECURE seal, to allow businesses of all sizes to demonstrate to online customers that they are taking proactive steps in identifying and remediating malware and other security threats from their Web sites.
