VIPRE Now with New MX-Virtualization Technology
Sunbelt Software, Inc., a provider of enterprise and consumer security software, recently announced MX-Virtualization technology as part of its security product VIPRE Antivirus + Antispyware. Says the company, “MX-Virtualization, is the latest addition to VIPRE’s arsenal of detection methods to help protect against new or unidentified malware. By testing for malware behavioral characteristics in a super-compact virtual Windows environment, VIPRE is able to isolate, execute and analyze malware in a safe and controlled environment, protecting users from zero-day threats, without impacting performance.” MX-Virtualization was built exclusively by Sunbelt.
