Enterprise 2.0 Adoption Webinars
Widgets & RSS FeedsThe technology of Enterprise 2.0 has matured in recent years so the main focus now is on gaining adoption of the tools within organizations, rather than on the latest and greatest widget release. To this end, NewsGator and the 2.0 Adoption Council are hosting a webinar series on social computing from January 28 through February 18. There are four webinars in the series:
- January 28th: Social Computing Adoption in the Enterprise “the Before”—learn how to best develop the business case, gain buy-in, select technology and establish the team
- February 4th: Social Computing Adoption in the Enterprise “the After”—gather best practices on implementation, policy formation, training, and community management
- February 11th: EMC Enterprise 2.0 Case Study
- February 18th: Raytheon Enterprise 2.0 Case Study
If you haven’t heard of the 2.0 Adoption Council, it is a collection of people from large organizations who have responsibility for planning 2.0 adoption within their firms. The council is technology-agnostic, but there is a shared passion and interest in driving forward the use of such tools. Membership is tightly controlled, so that only people actually involved in the 2.0 world within large organizations take part.
It’s great to see a focus on real case studies in the webinars, and if you have any involvement in evaluating the potential for enterprise 2.0 tools within your organization, get your registration in now. They are likely to be recorded for after the event access, but the benefit of attending is the opportunity to engage with the presenters during the discussion time.
