RSA Keynotes Address How Cloud Changing Security Landscape

Redwood Shores-based, Qualys, Inc., providers of on demand IT security risk and compliance management solutions, announced that its keynote session at RSA Conference USA 2011 will use audience participation to drive an interactive discussion on “The Future of Security in the Era of Cloud Computing,” hosted by technology futurist Paul Saffo. For the session, Qualys CEO and Chairman Philippe Courtot will join Saffo along with eBay CISO and Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Chairman Dave Cullinane to address topics and questions coming from the audience live via twitter (#RSACcloud). Anticipating a lively discussion on how cloud computing is changing the security landscape, Qualys will continue to host the discussion on its community site at: http://community.qualys.com.

Speaking of the CSA, today they announced the addition of Vivek Kundra, US Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the White House, as a keynote speaker at the CSA Summit at RSA. Kundra joins a hearty list of speakers. In his keynote, Kundra will outline the federal government’s vision and strategy for moving towards cloud adoption in the coming years.

The CSA Summit will kick off at 9am, with an opening keynote by salesforce.com Chairman and CEO Marc Benioff. Industry leaders including Christofer Hoff, Liam Lynch, Chief Security Strategist from eBay, and Philippe Courtot, CEO of Qualys, will also deliver an exciting lineup of presentations and panels on the future outlook for cloud security.
