Sunbelt Software Launches Ninja
It’s rare to find companies in the anti-spam business that grow to a significant size without venture investment, but Sunbelt Software has done just that, and now employs over 120 people and has revenues in excess of $22mm per year.
Earlier this week, the company released Nina Messaging Security, an antivirus, antispam, anti-phishing, and content filtering product for Microsoft Exchange. Ninja integrates anti-spam rules from Cloudmark with its own heuristics, supports SPF, and lets administrators pick from different black hole lists. It works with Active Directory to support messaging policies, and uses antivirus engines from Authentium and BitDefender.
Pricing includes the first year maintenance and starts at $166.25 for 5 mailboxes and goes down to $5.75 per mailbox in volume.
