Two conferences on Twitter — May 2009 in the Bay Area
There is now enough interest in Twitter to support two full conferences. The two conferences will be held within one week of each other in the San Francisco Bay Area. Both conferences have solid speaker lineups, although the speaker lists overlap somewhat.
140 The Twitter Conference is hosted by the Parnasus Group and I believe is the first conference dedicated to Twitter. The conference is appropriately titled 140 and has the theme Tapping In To the Real Time Web. The event will be held May 26th - 27th at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA.
The conference spans two full days. Sessions include business, marketing, social, technical and political topics. There speaker lineup has a healthy representation from Twitter, Inc. as well as many other notable individuals and companies who use Twitter.

TWTRCON SF 09 is the second Twitter conference. The event has the theme Twitter for Business and the conference agenda clearly focuses on business development and marketing aspects of Twitter. The event will be held at Hotel Nikko in San Francisco, CA on May 31, 2009.
