MacLeod argues that Google commodified location information for mainstream consumers with its Google Latitude service and that this has changed the market.
Slides On The Go! SlideShare Launches Mobile Site: TechCrunch’s Robin Wauters writes about the release of SlideShare Mobile, which allows people to view any slide decks hosted on SlideShare on most SmartPhones with a modern browser or other phones capable of running Opera Mini. This is compelling as it means that slide decks from PowerPoint, Keynote and other applications are can be viewed, searched, and commented on from many mobile devices rather than just from desktop machines.
A List Apart: Articles: Return of the Mobile Style Sheet: Dominique Hazël-Massieux has a fine article on the A List Apart site discussing the state of CSS and why recent developments make it worth investigating designing style sheets for mobile browsers again.
