The anatomy of a DDoS attack: On its blog, Royal Pingdom, the Pingdom describes the effect on Mininova’s uptime during the Distributed Denial of Service Attack the service suffered last month. The attack lasted for about fourteen hours and used UDP connections that generated about two Gbits of traffic, which completely saturated Mininova’s uplink.
