Guide to Email Delivery: Dave Zohrob has written a three part series titled “The Entrepreneur’s Guide to Email Delivery” which provides a nice, but brief overview of many issues including MTAs, mail outsourcing services, email authentication how to best work with email service providers. Zohrob also has a useful list of contact forms and applications for integrating with providers mail loops

Skype 2.8 Beta for Mac OS X provides screen sharing, WiFi access, chat features and Twitter-like mood messages: Dan York talks about the recent Skype Beta on his Disruptive Telephony telephony blog. The feature list is substantial as well as the connections to services such as Boingo and Twitter (experimental). The screen sharing addition means that Skype includes all the features of iChat and then some.

Google Blog Converters 1.0 Released: This low key open source release should begin to make converting between some of the major blog systems including Blogger, LiveJournal, MovableType and WordPress much easier. While all the major weblog system have export functions, converting between the systems can be a challenge. The conversion scripts are in Python and effectively make the Blogger format the intermediary between the other systems, but the number of options should increase with future releases.
