Introducing Zoho Viewer: a new service from Zoho that is billed as an attachment replacement service. Users can upload a variety of common office document types (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF) which are then converted to images and given a URL. No login, account, plugins, or software other than a modern web browser is needed to view the files. The URLs are not made public, but otherwise have no protection.
Facebook for iPhone is here: The popular social networking website Facebook, has released a well received specialized iPhone interface that does a good job making a users Facebook contacts and messages available, even over the EDGE network.
One million Skypers back online: the Skype Journal chronicles yesterday’s major Skype outage (users were unable to log in) and the eventual return of service to most countries.
