Official Gmail Blog: Create personal mailing lists through contact manager: Google has added a simple group alias feature (not really a mailing list) to the new contact manager interface. This makes it straightforward to send a message to a consistent group of individuals and it is straightforward to create groups and add or remove members. Users who wish to have traditional mailing list functionality will want to use Google Groups.

Office Live Adds Spaces Blogs, Custom HTML Editing, Outlook Sync: This means that all users of Office Live can now sync contacts, mail, calendar, and tasks with Outlook 2003 and 2007 among other new features. Synchronization with the Outlook calendar requires a paid account.
