Bacn: is defined as “email you want, but not right now.” Notification messages that you might want to be aware of, but that you don’t want filling up your email or SMS inbox is a common problem. There is more on bacn at Wikipedia. There should be an even lower grade of messages that would classify social network sites that inexplicably seem to think I care that someone in my network added a widget enough to want to read and email about it.
