He provides nice comparisons the habits of Thomas Edison and H. L. Mencken for responding to the overload of communication in previous times.

Not Using Tweetscan to Manage Your Brand? You’re Not Doing Your Job: Mashable’s Adam Ostrow writes about makes a case for businesses to use Tweetscan, Summize, and other similar tools to monitor Twitter for mentions of brands and products in order to proactively respond to them.

Please stop doing this: Dean Allen of Textism makes a brief, but compelling argument that there is no reason to over users a choice of a variety of RSS/ATOM feed types when any one will likely do nicely. FeedBurner is also a reasonable solution.
