Email Standards Project Acid Test | Email Standards Project: this is a test inspired by the Web Standards Project (WaSP) Acid tests that are widely used to gauge standards compliance for browsers. The Email Standards Project Acid Test aims to do the same for HTML standards rendering in email clients. Current results are available for common browser-based and stand-alone email clients.

Rands In Repose: Year in Twitter: Michael Lopp writes about his use of Damon Cortesi’s Twitter Stats script which will produce statistics for your personal Twitter usage. What’s interesting about this is that since Twitter has an open and public API external developers can easily produce tools to extract data and produce statistics about a users communication patterns.

Evolving the OpenID Foundation Board: an announcement that Google, IBM, Microsoft, VeriSign, and Yahoo! have all joined the OpenID Foundation as corporate board members. The OpenID foundation began in June of 2007 with the goal of managing the intellectual property and brand marks of OpenID.
