On Message with Ben Gross

Texting4Health is a day-long selection of presentations and panels on how mobile text messaging (SMS) can be used to improve personal and public health. The event is hosted By Persuasive Technology Lab at Stanford University in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). I attended the earlier Mobile Persuasion conference also hosted by the Persuasive Technology Lab. The conference was highly informative, very interactive, and extremely well run. The conference will be held on Friday, February 29th, 2008. Early registration is available until February 8th, 2008.

There will be two optional workshops connected to the conference: Thursday, February 28th, 2007 an “Introduction to Text Messaging” and Saturday, March 1st, 2008 “How to Create Your Own SMS Service.” Early registration for the workshops is available until February 22nd, 2008.
