schrep’s blog: Mozilla and Mobile: The Mozilla project announced that they are officially producing a supported Firefox client for mobile devices such as tablets, PDAs, and phones. The previous Minimo prototype will not be used, the version will be based off of the upcoming Mozilla2 code base and thus not publicly available until after Fixfox 3 ships.
The Social Network Operating System: Tim O’Reilly discusses the requirements for social network sites such as Facebook to interoperate and what benefits this would bring. One immediate benefit is that allowing networks to be portable would reduce the unnecessary duplication of data each time a user signs up for another social network system.
