Social Networking Goes Global Major Social Networking Sites Substantially Expanded
Their Global Visitor Base during Past Year: A new report from comScore outlines growth metrics of the top social networking sites. Of the top three sites in terms of total unique visitors, MySpace is the largest social network which grew 72 percent between June 2006 and June 2007. Facebook grew 299 percent, and Hi5 65 percent. The report also includes region market penetration.

IM-History.com: This free service allows users to archive there IM client histories online. Currently, Skype, Yahoo!, ICQ, MSN, Miranda, and QIP are supported. More clients such as AIM, Gtalk, Trillian, and Pidgin IM are scheduled for a later release. The service relies on a Windows only download to install plugins into the clients.
