China’s Online Population Explosion What It May Mean for the Internet Globally… and for U.S. Users: Although just over 10% of people in Chinese use the internet, already they are the second largest population of internet users globally and are projected to pass the number of US users within a few years.

Broadband Adoption 2007 report: As of early 2007 nearly half of adult Americans have broadband connections in their homes. The rate of adoption is slowing overall. Those with dialup connections use the internet less frequently. In addition, the number of dialup users is steadily decreasing.

The volume of spam is growing in Americans’ personal and workplace email accounts, but email users are less bothered by it.: Few users have become better at recognizing spam, but many more know how to avoid it. The report is interesting as it provides details on the differences in people’s opinions about spam.
