Is The Page View Dead?: Nielsen/NetRatings is dropping ranking based on page views. The page view metric can be a poor indicator for sites heavily based on AJAX, Flash, Java or other interactive technologies. Nielsen will add metrics such as total time spent on the site which will be a good indicator for some properties such as online video. However, time spent will be a poor metric for measuring search engines.

iPhoneDevCamp San Francisco 2007: A summary of iPhone applications developed at the iPhoneDevCamp Hack-a-Thon. Currently 64 applications including utilities, games, productivity applications. A podcast of the demo session is available.

Open Source Mulberry: The venerable IMAP client is now open source using the Apache license for Mac OS X platforms and Linux. Mulberry has a relatively small, but devoted, user base. Mulberry has made the transition from a paid commercial product, to a free download, to open source.
