CommuniGate Systems and Voxilla recently announced availability of a new Internet Communications suite offering SMBs an integrated telephony, email and messaging package.
Based on CommuniGate Systems’ CommuniGate Pro, the package includes a Dell server with Intel dual-core CPUs, VoIP software, IP telephones and adaptors and networking hardware. Initially, the product will ship with either Microsoft Windows Server Edition or Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
CommuniGate Pro is an IP Communications application server that enables email, VoIP, video, instant messaging (IM), presence and collaboration. CommuniGate reports the product allows enterprises to streamline the management of their communications and improve Total Cost of Ownership by providing a single solution for both voice and data communications and collaboration.
The IP Communications Suite offers:
Dell servers in rack mount or tower formats
CommuniGate Pro Internet Communications application server
Session Border Controller
SIP based Instant Messaging
SIP PBX
Email and Voicemail server
Optional Clustering support
SIP phones from Linksys and Polycom
Telephony services from a variety of providers
Full provisioning and services delivery
According to the company, Voxilla’s IP telephones and service providers, such as Broadvoice, Race Technology, TelTel and VoicePulse, integrate seamlessly to provide business class VoIP. The standards-based solutions will allow open communications to other systems and users on the Internet unlike closed networks and technologies such as Skype.
Under the terms of the partnership, customers can purchase a full IP Communications Suite at Voxilla’s online shop. — Stephanie Jordan
