Last week Research in Motion announced that Cingular Wireless will begin selling the BlackBerry 7130c with a more consumer-friendly data plan, and that this fall, NTT DoCoMo will begin selling BlackBerry devices in Japan. Rumors that the company is also planning to offer a device with an MP3 player, and a camera, possibly with Apple Computer, also continue to circulate. The new BlackBerry Personal Plan from Cingular offers access to e-mail for as low as $29.99 per month, compared to the previous plan, which was $44.99 per month.
