Zenprise Ships Version 2.0

April 18th, 2006

Zenprise, Inc. shipped Zenprise 2.0 service-management software, which provides automated diagnosis and resolution of operational problems in Microsoft Exchange environments. Zenprise 2.0 helps administrators find and fix email access and performance problems, track bounced messages, and improve service quality.

Zenprise 2.0 has improved ability to solve problems in clustered environments, and includes extensive information about Exchange problems drawn from third party providers, including O’Reilly Media’s technical books and Microsoft. These problems are cataloged in Zenprise’s Symptom Database; when errors in a customer’s environment are detected, they are mapped to the associated problems codified in the Symptom Database.

Competitors include DYS Analytics’ Email Control!, Lucid8’s Enterprise System Protector Suite for Exchange and IBM, which acquired Micromuse in December.

Pricing for Zenprise 2.0 starts at $15 per user for 1000 users, and includes support, subscription updates, and Zenprise software for as many Exchange servers as there are in the customer environment.
