Sales of email security products will grow to $5.5 billion by 2010, up from $3.7 billion this year, according to a new report by Ferris Research, a San Francisco-based market research and consulting firm. Ferris notes that email security revenues are increasing by almost 25% a year, and that the overall market for email security products and services in 2005 will consist of 450 million users. The new report also finds that the market for email security appliances is growing faster than the market for software and hosted service providers. More details here.
